Yobe government pledges full support to Fika family blessed with quadruplets

A family in Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State has been blessed with the birth of quadruplets, prompting the state government and local authorities to mobilise immediate support for their welfare.
According to the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), the Ministry of Health, community leaders, and other stakeholders have already stepped in to provide immediate relief and ensure the family’s well-being.
Neptune Prime reported that officials acknowledge the need for sustained support to guarantee stability during the anticipated challenging period, however.

In a statement, SEMA confirmed that the Yobe State Government has pledged comprehensive assistance to the family. The agency said the intervention would include full rehabilitation and livelihood support to help the parents adapt to their new responsibilities, alongside coverage of all medical expenses not already included in the free services provided by the state hospital.
To demonstrate the government’s commitment, SEMA revealed that the sum of ₦500,000 has already been deposited with its team to initiate urgent action.

According to the agency, the Local Emergency Management Committee teams in both Fika and Potiskum have been mobilised to ensure rapid follow-up and sustained assistance, with dedicated contact numbers made available for community coordination.
Officials say the move reflects the government’s dedication to humanitarian care, particularly in situations that demand both immediate aid and long-term welfare planning.
