President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived back in Abuja on Tuesday evening after curtailing a 10-day leave initially scheduled for Paris and London.

No official explanation was given for the decision to return earlier than planned.
The president’s return coincides with the expiry of the six-month emergency rule in Rivers State, Nigeria’s oil-rich region, which lapses on Thursday.
Since January 2025, the 73-year-old leader has embarked on 15 foreign trips, frequently combining official engagements with periods of rest.
