Terrorists abduct PRNigeria journalist, Salis Manaja
A multimedia journalist with Image Merchants Promotion Limited, IMPR, publishers of PRNigeria and Economic Confidential, and other titles, Salis Manaja, has been kidnapped by terrorists.
The incident occurred on Saturday while the victim was travelling from Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, to Ilorin for the PR Nigerian Young Communication Scholars Fellowship.

He was reportedly abducted in Kogi State.
Confirming the abduction, the head of innovation and special projects at PRNigeria, Dahiru Muhammad-Lawal, said the incident has left the staff members devastated.
Narrating his last conversation with the victims, Mr Lawal, who is also the team lead for the fellowship programme, said, “We were expecting to see him in Ilorin on Saturday, but his line became unreachable despite confirming to us that he had departed from Abakaliki.
“We made several attempts to get in touch but to no avail. Eventually, we can speak with him through the numbers of his abductors on Sunday afternoon,” the official added.

Mr Lawal also disclosed that the management was making frantic efforts and working closely with authorities to ensure the safe return of Mr Manaja.
