Renowned journalist, Bilkisu Babangida, passes away at 56
The death has occurred by a renowned journalist, Bilkisu Babangida. She died this morning In Abuja following a protracted Illness.
Bilkisu Babangida worked for Radio Nigeria Kaduna as a presenter before joining Voice of America (VOA) In 1999. She was the VOA correspondent In Borno State for many years.

She then left VOA and joined British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Hausa Service up to her death.

The veteran journalist died at the age of fifty-six (56). She left behind two (2) children and six (6) grandchildren.
Janna’zah Prayers for her remains will be held later in the afternoon at the National Mosque, Abuja By 1.30pm.
