Olubadan: Tight security as VIPs attend Oba Ladoja’s coronation ceremony

There is heavy security presence at the venue of the coronation ceremony of Oba Rashidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
At the historic Mapo Hall, all roads leading to the venue are blocked, while security operatives man strategic points in the vicinity.
At the entry points to the hall, many security officers are seen screening guests and journalists who want to enter the venue.
The security officers are from the Presidential Villa, Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Department of Security Services (DSS), and other agencies.
Eminent Nigerians are already at the venue, waiting for the arrival of Oba Ladoja, President Bola Tinubu, Governor Seyi Makinde, and others.

Already seated are Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Chief Niyi Akintola, Prof. Soji Adejumo, Hon. Aderemi Oseni, a former First Lady of Oyo State, Chief (Mrs.) Mutia Olayinka Ladoja; Senator Sarafadeen Alli, Dr. (Mrs.) Onikepo Akande, Deputy Speaker, Mohammed Abiodun Fadeyi, Senator Gbenga Daniel, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, Mr Joseph Tegbe, Sambo Dasuki, and members of the Oyo State Executive Council.
Traditional leaders are not left out, with the presence of the Owa Obokun of Ijesa land, Oba Clement Adesuyi Hastrup; the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Olaoye Ghandi; and a host of others.
From the religious world are Primate Sunday Ola Makinde and Muslim leaders in the country.
