Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago dissolves cabinet

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has dissolved his cabinet, effective Monday. The announcement was made during the State Executive Council meeting at the Government House in Minna.
According to his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the dissolution saw the governor appreciate the now-former cabinet members for their service to the state.

However, Governor Bago did not dissolve the entire leadership. He chose to reinstate key officials, including the Secretary to the State Government, the Chief of Staff, and the Deputy Chief of Staff, along with several other principal officers.
The governor wished all of them the best in their future endeavours.
