NANS president fosters unity at Yobe State University campus tower (Pictures)

The President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) successfully led a Campus Tower at Yobe State University in Damaturu on Monday, August 18, 2025.
The event was organized to foster unity, tackle pressing student issues, and strengthen the connection between the association and its members on the ground.
In his keynote address, the NANS President emphasised that education is the backbone of national development. He extensively discussed the challenges students face, particularly with transportation, welfare, and campus autonomy. He assured students that NANS remains committed to advocating for affordable and accessible transportation, improved welfare, and policies that promote student rights and campus independence.
During interactive sessions, students voiced a variety of concerns, from the high cost of living to inadequate learning facilities. The President listened carefully and promised that their issues would be brought to the attention of relevant authorities.
