NALVEJ visits chairman of Katsina Times Media group

The Katsina State chapter of the National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ) has been advised to lead by example for incoming journalism practitioners in the state.
This was stated by Malam Danjuma Muhammad, Editor-in-Chief of Katsina Times Media Group, when he received the chairman and members of NALVEJ at his office in Katsina.
Malam Danjuma Muhammad recounted his visits to some state branches of the league, where he observed that younger journalists were reporting daily for consultations.

Despite the Katsina state branch being new, he was optimistic about its formation, saying it was better late than never. He pledged to make his state-of-the-art studio available for the veterans’ professional duties.
The Editor-in-Chief expressed happiness over the league’s visit, describing it as a brotherly and professional gesture. He promised to collaborate with NALVEJ to elevate journalism practice in Katsina State.
Earlier, Malam Badamasi Bukar Rumah, Chairman of NALVEJ in Katsina State, said the visit aimed to explore areas of collaboration between the league and Katsina Times Media Group.

He noted that many members had worked closely with Malam Danjuma Muhammad and appealed for support to move NALVEJ forward in the state.
The NALVEJ Chairman requested assistance in securing office accommodation and access to the media group’s studio for professional activities. He thanked Malam Danjuma Muhammad for his support.
