Man kills rival over suspected affair with wife
Police in Adamawa have launched a manhunt for a suspect who allegedly killed a villager over a dispute involving his wife.
The incident took place in Wuro Bakumbo village, where Hamman Shomo is accused of attacking Hammadu Shagari with a knife after a quarrel on Sunday.
According to security and counter-insurgency analyst Zagazola Makama, the dispute arose from Shomo’s suspicion that Shagari was having an affair with his wife, Rabi Alim, 20.
