Madakin Gudi Foundation launches free medical outreach in Yobe (Photos)

Madakin Gudi Foundation has launched a free medical outreach in the Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State.

The exercise was held at the Primary Healthcare Centre Gadaka, in Gadaka town.

Madakin Gudi Foundation is a non-governmental organisation focusing on providing humanitarian assistance and promoting sustainable development in Nigeria.

The independent organisation, founded by the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Yobe State, Alhaji Muhammad Gadaka, is known for rendering medical support to vulnerable persons across the state.

Recently, a free medical outreach was embarked upon by the Foundation in the Fika local government.

Speaking at the launching of the exercise, the Chairman of Fika Local Government Council, Alhaji Audu Bukar Gadaka, appreciated the gesture and urged other philanthropic individuals in the state to emulate the initiative.

Other dignitaries who spoke during the event lauded the founder for the timely health intervention.

Earlier, the Coordinator of the Free Medical Outreach, Dr Hassan Kaku, said the exercise concentrates on examining the health status of the people within the visited communities and subsequently offering them relevant drugs and treatment.

On their part, the beneficiaries expressed satisfaction with the exercise, noting that it is done at the right time when people are battling for means of survival due to recent economic setbacks.

From Gadaka, the outreach is billed to be extended to Fika town, Jangadole, Babaji, Jangasiri, Maiduwa, Balde, and Babanana among others.
