Kidnappers crash while escaping with ransom in Nasarawa
Kidnappers active around Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State abandoned both ransom money and weapons after their escape vehicle crashed.
The crash happened Monday morning at Angwan Mayo, along the Kokona axis, when the gang’s Peugeot 406, reportedly carrying firearms, was involved in an accident shortly after receiving ransom from their victims.

Eyewitnesses said the suspects fled the scene, leaving behind the cash and arms.
Nigerian Army troops quickly arrived at the site, securing the vehicle and recovering the abandoned items.
Security operatives have since ramped up efforts to track down the fleeing suspects.
