Kano State Assembly By-Elections: Voters cast ballots in Bagwai, Shanono, Gari and Tsanyawa

Voters from two State Assembly Consituencies in Kano State are casting their votes to elect their representatives.

Reports from Bagwai and Shanono State Assembly bye election indicate peaceful conduct of the exercise as voters were seen in an orderly manner exercising their franchise.
Similar reports from Gari and Tsanyawa indicate the peaceful conduct of the exercise in the State Assembly re-runs election in ten polling units.

Meanwhile, the bye election in Bagwai and Shanono is to fill the vacancy created following the death of a member representing the constituency, late Ali Ibrahim Kwadila who passed away last year.
However, the supplementary election in Gari and Tsanyawa constituency of the State Assembly is to complete the re-run that was halted last year as a result of security concern.
