KACRAN mourns death of RIKE-SD boss, Dr. Popoola
The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has joined the nation in mourning the passing of Dr Mustapha Ayodele Popoola, Executive Director of the Research for Impact, Knowledge Economy and Sustainable Development (RIKE-SD), based in Abuja.
In a heartfelt tribute, the National President of KACRAN, Hon. Khalil Mohammed Bello, described the late Dr Popoola as a visionary scholar, dedicated patriot, and a tireless advocate for sustainable development whose legacy will resonate for years to come.
“Dr Mustapha was a true nationalist, a man of deep faith, and a devoted workaholic whose efforts towards advancing sustainable development across Nigeria and Africa were truly remarkable,” Bello stated.
Bello lamented that Dr Popoola’s sudden death comes at a time when Nigeria’s farmers and herders urgently need his expertise, especially in the area of food security.

“He worked day and night to provide practical, scalable solutions to Nigeria’s agricultural and development challenges. His achievements through RIKE-SD are a testament to his brilliance and commitment,” the KACRAN President added.
On behalf of the association, Hon. Khalil extended condolences to Dr Popoola’s family, friends, academic community, students, and the entire RIKE-SD team. “We share in your grief and pray that Allah (SWT) comforts you all and grants Dr Mustapha Ayodele Popoola eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus,” he concluded.
