Gunmen shoot 2 Nigerians dead in South Africa
Tragedy struck in Durban, South Africa, when gunmen shot and killed two Nigerian nationals, Austin and Ayo. According to reports, the incident occurred on Thursday, July 9.
The victims were reportedly at Austin’s office, where he runs a car business and sells tyres, when three masked men stormed in around 8 pm. Without warning, the gunmen opened fire, shooting both men point-blank.
Fidelis, a friend of one of the deceased, recounted the events: “Austin and Ayo were standing and talking when the men wearing masks ran into the shop.

They were holding guns and didn’t say a word before shooting them.”
Customers in the shop fled in fear when they saw the armed men. Both Austin and Ayo died on the spot.
