Gov. Fintiri inspects Yola market project, orders demolition of unauthorised structures (Pictures)
Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on Tuesday, paid an unscheduled visit to the Yola market project—now at an advanced stage of completion—to assess progress and ensure quality delivery for the people of Adamawa.
While impressed with the overall pace of work, the Governor did not hide his displeasure over the construction of unapproved structures in unauthorised sections of the market.
He described the move as unacceptable and ordered the immediate demolition of the unauthorised structures.
He warned that such infractions would not be tolerated under his administration.
Governor Fintiri exemplified his commitment to order, transparency, and delivering projects that truly serve the people—not a few selfish interests.
