Gaza occupation plan criticized by Dutch and Scottish ministers as ‘wrong
 move’

Scottish First Minister John Swinney and Dutch Foreign Minister Kasper Veldkamp have condemned Israel’s decision to expand its occupation in the Gaza Strip. Swinney called on the international community to hold Israel accountable, while Veldkamp described the plan as “a wrong move.” The ministers’ criticism reflects growing concerns over Israel’s military campaign and its impact on civilians in Gaza.

In a post on X following the approval of full-scale occupation of Gaza by Israel’s mini-war cabineta, Swinney stated:

– “The Israeli government’s decision to seize Gaza is utterly unacceptable. This will exacerbate Palestinian humanitarian suffering and escalate conflict.”

– 152,045+ injured (as of Thursday)
– Thousands still trapped under rubble, unreachable by rescuers.
