Emir of Bade confers ‘Dan Majen Bade’ title on Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Tumsah (Pictures)

The Emir of Bade, His Royal Highness Alhaji Abubakar Umar Suleiman OON, has officially conferred the prestigious traditional title of Dan Majen Bade on Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Tumsah, a seasoned financial administrator and respected indigene of Yobe State.
In a colorful ceremony held in Gashua, the historic headquarters of both the Bade Emirate Council and Bade Local Government Area, Alhaji Ibrahim Tumsah was joined by family members, friends, well-wishers, and prominent dignitaries to express his deep gratitude and pay a thank-you visit to the royal palace.
Among those who accompanied him were notable personalities such as Alh. Tijjani Musa Tumsa, Alh. Kashim Musa Tumsa, Alh. Usman Musa Tumsah, Alh. Aji Saleh Yarima, Alh. Salisu Jibrin, Alh. Auwal Hamza, Alh. Sule Alhassan, Alh. Idi Ali Maiwada (Magma), Alh. Adamu D. Muhammad, Alh. Wakil Adamu, Alh. Ahmed Ardo, Alh. Ibrahim Grema, Alhaji Hayatundeen Musa, Alh. Salihu A. Bala Ji’kamshi, Alh. Abdu Usman, and Alh. Bulama Lamba, amongst other guests too numerous to mention who graced the occasion in celebration of this significant milestone.
The new Dan Maje Bade, in an emotionally laden speech, expressed his gratitude to the Emir and the entire members of the Emirate for finding him worthy of this exalted title. He pledged to use this title to uphold the dignity of the Emirate and its people.
To those who traveled from far and near, Dan Maje prayed for Allah to return all to their various homes and destinations safely and also prayed for Allah to reward all abundantly.
Brief Biography of Dan Majen Bade, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Tumsah*
Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Tumsah hails from Bursari Local Government Area of Yobe State. Born on August 12, 1961, he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from the University of Maiduguri.
He is a Certified Public Accountant of Nigeria (CPAN) and a Fellow of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN). He began his career in the old Borno State and Yobe State and later transferred to the Federal Civil Service in 1995 as Assistant Director (Accounts).

Over the years, he served in multiple key capacities across various federal ministries, including the Federal Ministry of Solid Minerals Development, Ministry of Internal Affairs, The Presidency, Ministry of Police Affairs, and the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.
Alhaji Tumsah rose through the ranks to become Deputy Director (Accounts) in 2004, and by 2008, he was appointed as director (Accounts). He was posted to the Federal Ministry of Works as Director, Finance and Accounts.
A widely traveled and highly respected public servant, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Tumsah is known for his dedication, humility, and service to the nation.
He is happily married and blessed with children. Outside his professional life, he enjoys farming and sports.

The conferment of this traditional title is a recognition of his outstanding service, integrity, and contributions to his community and the nation at large.
