EFCC operative found dead on Lagos street
On Monday, January 27, 2025, an operative of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was found dead on a street in Lagos.
The cause of his death was not immediately clear at the time of the report.
A viral video circulating online shows a crowd of concerned residents gathered around the lifeless body of the anti-graft agent, who was identified as Sylvanus.
The onlookers were seen going through his personal belongings in an effort to figure out how to contact either his family or his employers.
As of then, the EFCC had not provided any immediate response to the incident.
