Bandits rape woman to death, murder husband in private residence
Residents have been thrown into a state of mourning, after terrorists invaded the home of a couple in Nasarawa state and gruesomely raped the wife to death.
According to reports, the hoodlums gained entrance into the house through the window, and raped the wife to death.
This happened in Angwan Kari community in Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State in the early hours of Sunday, April 13.
According to reports, the gunmen killed the husband identified as Mr Williams Wasiu Jimoh and raped his wife, Banke, to death.
Confirming the incident, the Coordinator of the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS), Pastor Lee Ngbede said;
“Brother and Sister Jimoh were committed members of the FCS here in Keffi. The situation surrounding their gruesome death remains a shock to the entire Christian body in Keffi and the state,”

He added that a concern was raised by Mrs. Jimoh’s father, who noted that he hadn’t heard from the duo in a while.
After a visit to their house by a colleague and police officers, the couple were found dead with the wife’s body decomposing, her legs spread apart and her hand over her head. A view which made people sense sexual assault.
The husband was also found with multiple matchet wounds and was barely alive.
“The police said from all indications, the woman was raped to death. After that, her neck was also slashed, and it was practically dangling,” an eyewitness claimed.
The wife, Mrs Jimoh was buried on April 10, and Mr Jimoh, who succumbed to his injuries was laid to rest on April 16.
Residents are seeking justice for the couple and an end to violent attacks in the area.
