Wayne Rooney may become the next coach of a second division club in England, Derby County if the club continues its woeful performance under the current coach, Phillip Cocu this Friday against Nottingham Forest.
Although Rooney, 34, is yet to complete his course with UEFA, the club has signified their interest on the former Manchester United star.
Rooney signed an 18-month player-coach contract with the club back in January 2020 after having a successful time at D.C United before heading to Everton.
