NAWOJ mourns death of former Bauchi NUJ chairman, Isa Sulaiman

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) is deeply saddened by the passing of Isa Sulaiman, former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Bauchi State Council.

NAWOJ National Chairperson, Hajia Aisha Ibrahim, described him as a distinguished journalist and respected media practitioner who left a lasting impact on the profession in Bauchi State and beyond.

Isa Sulaiman’s commitment to truth, fairness, and professionalism earned him widespread admiration. As a mentor and leader, he inspired many journalists and made significant contributions to public enlightenment and media growth.

NAWOJ extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased. May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his loved ones the strength to bear this loss.

We stand in solidarity with the NUJ family during this difficult time and pray that Isa Sulaiman’s legacy will continue to inspire us to uphold journalistic principles and strive for excellence.
