Police crack down on murder suspects in Kano, 4 arrested

The Kano State Police Command has arrested four suspects in connection with the murder of Abdallah Usman, a male resident of Dorayi Karama Quarters, on August 4, 2025.
The arrests were a result of a joint operation by officers from the Department of Operations, Dorayi Babba Division, Sharada Division, Kumbotso Division, and other tactical teams.
The suspects, who all live in the Dorayi Karama area, were apprehended after the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, issued a 24-hour ultimatum to find the culprits.

During the operation, police recovered cutlasses, a pair of scissors, and other dangerous weapons. An investigation is currently underway to arrest additional suspects who are still at large.
The Kano State Police Command extended its condolences to the deceased’s family and praised the officers for their professionalism.
The command reassured the public of its commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring that those who commit crimes are brought to justice.
