The passing of President Muhammadu Buhari, the last man standing, serves as a poignant reminder of the ephemeral nature of existence. His leadership was distinguished by unwavering discipline, integrity, and an ardent commitment to national service that resonated profoundly with the Nigerian populace. In bidding farewell to the indefatigable Peoples’ General, Muhammadu Buhari, we pay homage to a leader whose dedication and service have indelibly etched their mark upon the nation. His steadfast devotion to the people and the advancement of Nigeria illuminated his tenure.
President Buhari’s ascension to the presidency in 2015 signified the dawn of a transformative era, characterized by reform and change. His administration prioritized significant infrastructure projects, such as railways and roads, to enhance connectivity and catalyze economic growth. Initiatives like the Treasury Single Account (TSA), trader monies, anchor borrowers, and the settlement of outstanding salaries for civil servants underscore his unwavering commitment to transparency and accountability in governmental operations, thereby establishing a benchmark for future governance practices.
