Ships headed for Israeli ports will be sunk, Yemen’s Ansarullah warns

A senior official from Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has warned that any vessel heading toward Israeli ports will be targeted and sunk in response to the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.

The statement signals an escalation in regional resistance against Israel’s blockade and genocidal campaign in Gaza. It also reflects growing solidarity among resistance groups in the region.

Nasr al-Din Amer, Deputy Head of the Ansarullah Media Authority, told Al Jazeera that “any ship violating the ban on entering ports in occupied Palestine will be targeted and sunk.” He clarified that Ansarullah is not seeking to provoke conflict but is acting in self-defense and out of solidarity with the people of Gaza.

He confirmed that an attack on the Ben Gurion Airport was part of the continued support for Palestinian resistance.

Ansarullah’s warning comes amid growing regional outrage over Israel’s continued war crimes in Gaza, including indiscriminate bombings, targeted starvation, and the deliberate destruction of civilian infrastructure. More than 57,000 Palestinians have been killed since October 2023, with thousands of children among the victims.

Amid Israel’s blockade, hospitals have collapsed, and entire neighborhoods have been razed.
