Tumsah to empower 29 Yobe brilliant minds with ₦100,000 grants Saturday
Kashim Musa Tumsah, MFR, popularly known as KMT by admirers, will present a ₦100,000 education grant to high-achieving students of Yobe State who scored 300 points in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations today in Damaturu.
Tumsah, a seasoned lawyer and diplomat of repute, has announced that students who scored above 300 in the 2025 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination will receive this generous grant.
The grant presentation ceremony for 29 qualified students, scheduled for May 31, 2025, at 9:00 AM, will take place at the prestigious Mai Mala Hall, NUJ Secretariat, in Damaturu.
This event is a testament to KMT’s dedication to nurturing academic excellence and empowering the state’s youth. However, the initiative is not new to him, as he has consistently demonstrated his passion for education.

Before the JAMB examinations, he sponsored a comprehensive three-day tutorial for candidates in Yobe State, demonstrating his commitment to enhancing academic performance and expanding access to quality education.

One of the organisers of the event also confided to Neptune Prime that he would sponsor the tertiary institution registrations of some students living with disabilities, as well as donate cash to various student union bodies for the welfare of students.
