APC national chairman visits Yobe to sympathise with victims of terrorist attacks

The Yobe State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday received the National Chairman of the party, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, in Damaturu.
Ganduje’s visit was aimed at sympathising with the government and people of Yobe State over the recent insurgent attacks in Buni-Gari, Gujba Local Government Area.
The State APC Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka, who was represented by his Deputy, Alhaji Mohammed Alamai Goni Aji, alongside other party executives, welcomed the national chairman at the Yobe Airport.

After the reception, Ganduje proceeded to the Government House in Damaturu for a courtesy visit to Governor Mai Mala Buni, where he reiterated the party’s solidarity with the state in tackling security challenges.
The APC national chairman commended Governor Buni’s efforts in maintaining peace and fostering development in the state despite security setbacks.
He assured continued support from the party and the federal government in addressing insurgency and rebuilding affected communities.
Governor Buni expressed gratitude for the visit, describing it as a morale booster for the people of Yobe.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working with security agencies to restore lasting peace in the state.
The visit also featured discussions on strengthening the party’s structures ahead of future elections.
