41-year-old Nosakhare sentenced for sexual abuse of girlfriend’s minor daughter
A 41-year-old Nigerian man, Elvis Nosakhare, has been sentenced to six years in prison in the UK for sexually abusing his girlfriend’s underage daughter. The sentence was handed down at Aylesbury Crown Court on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
Nosakhare, who resides at Sheelin Grove in Bletchley, was convicted earlier this year on two counts of penetrative sexual activity with a minor and three counts of non-penetrative sexual activity following a trial.
The offences occurred in the Thames Valley area after Nosakhare met the victim’s mother through an online dating platform and went on to abuse her daughter, betraying the trust placed in him.

In addition to the prison sentence, Nosakhare has been placed on the sex offenders register for life, and the court also issued a restraining order against him.
Detective Constable Bryn Smith of the Child Abuse Unit praised the victim for her courage during the investigation and trial. “I want to commend the victim for her bravery throughout both the investigation and court proceedings. I hope that Elvis Nosakhare’s conviction and sentence gives her some sense of justice,” he said.
He added that Thames Valley Police has dedicated teams who investigate sexual offences, support victims, and bring offenders to justice. He encouraged anyone with information or who has experienced abuse to contact the police, assuring that they will be supported by experienced officers and staff.
